What a suprise!
Someone was on the gents toilet, when crash, the floor dropped!

First step, tear out the toilet & floor and see what the problem is.

The beam supporting the joists as they attach to the wall, had rotted (due to long running, unknown leak).

In the 2nd photo, you can see the supporting beam replaced and the structure starting to be re-built.

All damaged structure replaced and the under-floor area was cleaned. The floor panels were renewed.

The tiling was laid and grouted. The toilet was then re-fitted and the pipe (that was leaking) was replaced.

The damaged plasterwork was cleaned off and made good.

Now the toilet sits fully working, with a secure floor!

All that's left now, is to fit new skirting boards and re-decorate when we decorate the hall.
