Children & Families Worker

Hi, I have been children and families worker at Bethel since October 2020.

I became a Christian at a Billy Graham mission England event when I was ten years old.

In 2016 I became children and families worker at Hampton Wick Baptist church.

Sunday school meets every week apart from the fourth Sunday when we have an all age service. On the third Sunday of the month we explore Sunday school outside in our church garden or at the park. It's about exploring God's creation around us. We recently did a bird survey in the church garden after putting up a bird feeder and hydration station.

We run a 0-5 year olds group called Bethel Bunnies in term time. Toys to play with and snacks to be eaten.

Recently we set up a coffee morning on a Wednesday in term time with toys for the children and we eat breakfast together too. We received money from the Benefact Trust to set this up.

I love using creative methods in Sunday school so we can explore bible stories in an interesting way.
