One thing is for sure He is coming again, all the NT writers speak about it, e.g.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>So you also must be ready,&nbsp;because <strong>the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect Him<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<cite>Matt. 24:44<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>See also Mark 14:26; Luke 21:27; John 14:3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cMen of Galilee,\u201d<\/em>&nbsp;they said, <em>\u201cwhy do you stand here looking into the sky? <strong>This same Jesus<\/strong>, who has been taken from you into heaven, <strong>will come back&nbsp;<\/strong>in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<cite>Acts 1:11<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Paul, e.g.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>For <strong>the Lord himself will come down from heaven<\/strong>,&nbsp;with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel&nbsp;and with the trumpet call of God,&nbsp;and the dead in Christ will rise first.<\/p>\n<cite>1 Thess. 4:16<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The writer&nbsp; to the Hebrews:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u2026 so Christ was sacrificed once&nbsp;to take away the sins of many; <strong>and He will appear a second time<\/strong>,&nbsp;not to bear sin,&nbsp;but to bring salvation&nbsp;to those who are waiting for Him.<\/p>\n<cite>Hebrews 9:28<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>You too, be patient and stand firm, because <strong>the Lord\u2019s coming&nbsp;is near<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<cite>James 5:8<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>But <strong>the day of the Lord will come like a thief<\/strong>.&nbsp;The heavens will disappear with a roar;&nbsp;the elements will be destroyed by fire,&nbsp;and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare [or, \u201cburned up\u201d].<\/p>\n<cite>2 Peter 3:10<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Dear friends,&nbsp;now we are children of God,&nbsp;and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that <strong>when Christ appears<\/strong>, we shall be like Him,&nbsp;for we shall see him as He is.<\/p>\n<cite>1 John 3:2<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>See, the Lord is coming&nbsp;with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones.<\/p>\n<cite>Jude 14<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Look, <strong>He is coming with the clouds <\/strong>and every eye will see Him \u2026<\/p>\n<cite>Revelation 1:7<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>He who testifies to these things says, \u201c<strong>Yes, <\/strong><strong>I am coming soon<\/strong>.\u201d Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.<\/p>\n<cite>Revelation 22:20<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Quote<\/strong><strong> of the week<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#f8e9c8\"><em>\u201cFor this time it will be God without disguise; something so overwhelming that it will strike either irresistible love or irresistible horror into every creature. It will be too late then to choose your side.\u201d <br><\/em><br>C. H. Spurgeon<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Verse<\/strong><strong> of the week<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life,&nbsp;and that day will close on you suddenly&nbsp;like a trap. For it will come on all those who live on the face of the whole earth.&nbsp;Be always on the watch, and pray&nbsp;that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.<\/p>\n<cite>Luke 21:34-36<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Let\u2019s Pray<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Lord, it is a sure and certain fact that You are coming again, and coming soon. Help us to be ready. Lord, fill us afresh with Your Spirit, that we may live lives that are pleasing to Yourself.
